Instructions:- Extract the entire contents of Marvell_SATA_V1.2.0.1047.zip to a folder (Downloads being the most likely choice)
- Launch Device Manager by typing 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotations) into Search.
- Go to Storage Controller and identify your Marvell 91xx controller driver.
- Right-click on this device and click 'Update driver software'.
- Choose 'Browse my computer for driver software'.

- Your device driver will be updated and you will be prompted to reboot.
Everything works OK, except for one sata drive that is not detected, among the two sata drives that are connected to the ide / sata controller Marvell 6121. The other sata controller for the 6 other sata drives works well.
With WinXP and Win7 however, all drives are correctly detected after installing the proper driver.
Marvell Hard Disk Controller Driver Install
I tried many distributions (Mint 16, Debian 7.0, 7.2 and 7.3, KUbuntu 13.10, Ubuntu 12.04.3, Tails 0.22, openSuse 13.1, Knoppix 7.2, Fedora 20.1) for 32b and 64b. All display the same problem.With a fresh Windows 7 install, the same problem arises (one sata drive not detected) but it disappears as soon as the driver for Win7 is downloaded from Asus's site and installed.
Unfortunately for Linux, there is only audio driver on Asus website, no driver for Marvell 6121 controller that would improve pata_marvell driver. I didn't find any driver for Linux either on the Marvell website.
